In dieser Schlüsselrolle steuerst du eigenverantwortlich die gesamten finanziellen Prozesse für unseren Reiseveranstalter HolidayCheck Touristik. Du analysierst, planst, gestaltest – und sorgst so dafür, dass unsere Geschäftsentscheidungen fundiert, transparent und zukunftsfähig sind. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit verschiedenen Fachbereichen zusammen und trägst messbar zum Geschäftserfolg bei.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Selbstständige Analyse und Interpretation großer finanzieller und operativer Datenmengen (Big Data) zur Identifikation von Umsatz- und Kostentreibern, Margen und Optimierungspotenzialen
  • Eigenverantwortliche Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Prozessen zur Finanzplanung, Budgetierung und Forecast-Erstellung für unseren Tour Operator
  • Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung von KPIs und Steuerungsinstrumenten zur Performance-Messung und Förderung von Wachstum und Profitabilität
  • Einsatz von Financial Modeling und Szenarioanalysen zur Bewertung finanzieller Auswirkungen strategischer Initiativen und Preisstrategien
  • Erstellung und Pflege von Reports, Dashboards und Modellen mit Tools wie Excel, Tableau oder Power BI
  • Vorbereitung von Entscheidungsvorlagen für die Geschäftsleitung mit klaren Handlungsempfehlungen auf Basis relevanter Kennzahlen und Trends
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produkt, Marketing, Einkauf und Finance zur strategischen Abstimmung
  • Unterstützung bei Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Accounting-Team
Das bringst du mit
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Finance, Controlling oder vergleichbare Qualifikation – MBA ist ein Plus
  • 5–7+ Jahre Berufserfahrung im Controlling, idealerweise in der Touristik oder einem e-Commerce Umfeld
  • Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit zur Analyse und Interpretation komplexer Finanzdaten (Big Data) und ein sicheres Verständnis für wirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Finanzberichterstattung (inkl. Cashflow) und finanzwirtschaftlicher Steuerung über die gesamte Gesellschaft
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Financial Modeling, Szenarioanalysen sowie in der Anwendung von Datenanalyse- und Planungssoftware (z. B. Power BI, Tableau, LucaNet etc) oder vergleichbarer Software
  • Klarer, strukturierter Kommunikationsstil – auch bei komplexen Finanzthemen
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Hohe Eigenverantwortung, Hands-on-Mentalität und Teamspirit

In this key position, you independently steer all financial processes for our tour operator HolidayCheck Touristik. You analyze, plan, and shape – ensuring our business decisions are data-driven, transparent, and future-proof. In close collaboration with various departments, you’ll make a measurable impact on our business success.

Your Tasks
  • Independently analyze and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data (Big Data) to identify revenue and cost drivers, margin structures, and optimization potential
  • Own the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for our tour operator
  • Build and continuously improve KPIs and performance management tools to support growth and profitability
  • Apply financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and pricing strategies
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and models using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Prepare decision memos for senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations based on key metrics and trends
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Procurement, and Finance to align financial and strategic goals
  • Support month-end and year-end closings in coordination with the Accounting team
What you bring
  • A university degree in Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification – MBA is a plus
  • 5–7+ years of relevant experience in controlling, ideally in the travel or e-commerce industry
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data (Big Data) and a strong understanding of economic interdependencies
  • Solid knowledge in financial reporting (including cash flow) and company-wide financial performance management
  • Strong experience in financial modeling, scenario planning, and working with data analysis and planning tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, LucaNet or similar)
  • Clear, structured communication style – even when dealing with complex financial topics
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • A high level of ownership, a hands-on mindset, and strong team spirit
