Your Tasks

Develop and implement financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the tour operator company
Monitor, analyze and interpret financial performance data, identifying revenue and cost drivers, pricing structures, and profitability margins to optimize business operations and implement corrective actions
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance measurement frameworks to track business performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive business growth and profitability
Utilize financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data analysis tools to evaluate the financial impact of potential business initiatives, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives
Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards, facilitating effective communication and understanding of financial information
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management, highlighting key financial indicators, trends, and insights to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, ensuring financial objectives are aligned with company goals
Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Proven experience as a Business Controller in the tourism industry, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, including revenue and cost drivers, pricing structures, and profitability margins
Experience with development and implementation of performance measurement frameworks
Proficient in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software) as well as in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong knowledge of financial analysis to identify trends, risks & opportunities, and support strategic decision-making to drive business growth and profitability
Knowledge of accounting principles and techniques to analyze and optimize cost structures within the tour operator business
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
