We are looking for a dynamic and very skilled engineering manager who is enthusiastic to work in a Google Cloud setup with around 600 services and 100 database clusters, leading a team dedicated to empowering the engineering organization and driving innovation.
- You are responsible for the reliability, performance, security and compliance of the HolidayCheck Cloud Platform
- You shape the long-term vision of the Cloud Platform and align it with the company’s strategic goals
- You lead the technological evolution of the cloud infrastructure, reducing technical debt and eliminating legacy systems
- By delivering self-service tools for engineers in the various business units you support autonomy of the production teams
- You oversee incident management processes, including root cause analysis and preventive actions, to maintain high uptime and reliability
- You manage and further develop a team of 3 software engineers and 6 systems engineers spread over two locations and make sure that they are well connected within the HolidayCheck engineering world
- You are responsible for the hosting budget, you manage the third party relationships and drive a cost-efficient and sustainable cloud setup
- You closely cooperate with IT leaders, engineers and stakeholders across the company and commonly shape the IT processes, standards and strategy
