As Head of Engineering - Frontend (all genders) at HolidayCheck, you will lead 8 people with a focus on people, process, and frontend product excellence. You’ll foster a high-performance environment where frontend teams build delightful, reliable, and scalable travel experiences. By combining technical leadership with a product-oriented mindset, you will enable engineers to deliver user-facing features that have real business impact.

Your Tasks

Lead and develop distributed frontend engineering teams through coaching, mentorship, and intentional career growth
Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver high-quality, user-centric features in a timely manner
Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes to increase speed, quality, and team productivity
Ensure strong alignment across Product, Design, and Engineering to create cohesive customer experiences
Define and track clear KPIs to measure engineering impact and link outcomes to business value
Promote a culture of ownership, inclusion, excellence, trust, and continuous feedback
Define and uphold frontend service-level objectives (SLOs) for reliability and performance
Plan team capacity, lead hiring efforts, and scale the team in line with product roadmap needs

What you bring

Strong technical foundation with deep frontend expertiseand platform experience
Proven track recording engineering leadership, including team management and organizational scaling
Strong product mindset with the ability to translate business goals into scalable, sustainable technical solutions
Experience leading distributed engineering teams across locations and time zones
Operational clarity with a focus on delivery predictability and system reliability, combined with strategic foresight
Empathetic, clear, and outcome-driven leadership style that enables and empowers others to succeed
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate transparently and effectively across functions and organizational boundaries
