Specifically, you will support the team on-site in out Bottighofen office for a minimum of 6 months and 15-20 hours a week with the following activities:

Work directly with our Retail software development team to enhance our Package Vacation business
Design, develop & maintain products features supporting existing full stack applications (frontend and backend)
Support team in conducting quality assurance testing new features and updates on multiple devices & browsers before feature releases
Translate new concepts and ideas into prototypes
Handle small, independent tasks with guidance from the senior engineers

What you need to succeed

You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in IT/Computer Science
You have working knowledge of Git & front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, React)
You can develop REST APIs, and have basic database knowledge
You are a problem-solver with attention to detail and have a solution-oriented mindset to get things done
You are willing to learn new things and come with a team-player mindset
You are fluent in English, German knowledge is a plus
Previous experience with web development projects (personal or academic) is a plus

Due to the current Swiss employment law regulations, we are only able to consider applicants who already have a valid work permit for Switzerland or are able to obtain a work permit without sponsorship from the company
